Scouting has one of the most stringent and required youth protection training in the USA.
Unfortunately many Scouters feel that training alone makes them "trained".
The better trained the adult is, the better the program and experience is for the youth. So we strongly recommend basic and advanced training. Some are on-line. Many of the courses can be completed with other adults and the comradery of that setting cannot be beat. You will make lifelong friends at these venues.
